Very delicious. Very friendly and nice service.

Short stop on our bike tour through the Black Forest. Unfortunately ended up in the bad restaurant. Wholesale tzatziki, greasy and burnt pita. Service listless. Only afterwards did we see the bad reviews. Better to look beforehand.

Very tasty, uncomplicated dishes, always fresh, always a treat for the palate and the eyes. Very warm, nice hosts. Nicely located in the old town. You can eat and drink comfortably inside and outside. Another special feature: because of the thick building walls, there is no smartphone reception inside: guaranteed undisturbed lunch menu at very affordable prices. And: original Greek coffee on request.

Food in the price / performance ratio okay. As many have already written, the friendliness of the service could be improved. But food was delicious

Wonderful location as you can see the Rhine directly. The food was excellent, the owners very accommodating and eager for our wellbeing.

- The only thing worse than the food was the mood of the waitress - Starter plate (approx. 13 €) consisting of (thought protocol) 5-6 fried zucchini slices, 2 fried aubergine slices, a grilled pepper, a baked cheese and 2 half-baked discounter rolls. Price-performance ratio = bah The main course (gyros with souvlaki) was more like what you could call good, quite the opposite of the mood of the waitress. After we were first mobbed because we laughed (2 couples) the payment option card and the fact that both couples wanted to pay separately were displeased. In what I would call anything but hospitable tone came: "Should have said in advance that the WiFi outside is so bad." Leaving us unsure of what to do with this information and knowing that we were neither asked in advance how we should pay and whether we would like to pay separately, the solution to the problem was simple: get up, go to the restaurant and pay both bills separately with a card. A lot of hot air for nothing. We like to keep the Poseidon restaurant in mind as a restaurant that you do not recommend to your friends.

A competence training of the operation would definitely not harm the shop, I have never experienced anything so unfriendly and incompetent. Regardless of the service which was catastrophic, the food was the highlight. Starting with the starter, rolls from the cheap discounters to defrost, I would bet my heart on it. Not even thawed rolls, which were partly raw in the middle of a crust, you could not see anything. The cheese also from the freezer the rest consisted of fried vegetables for 13 € is a joke no 3 € I would pay for it. The taste of the gyros was at most "ok" nothing special but not bad either. If you want to pay with an ec card, you have to mention this at the beginning because the wifi is supposed to work very poorly outside. We could have been told that at the beginning and not at the end. Paying separately is also not welcome because the operation is too lazy.

Here you will not be seen when accompanied by your dog, even at the outermost table! After an appraising look at the waitress and the subsequent rugged and unfriendly reprimand, the dog must always lie, we went before ordering. Never again!

Gyros dry, Bifteki should be filled with feta cheese, but it was a strange paprika pampe that smelled bad and was just disgusting. Service was also not very friendly. Never again!

Good quality greek dishes, quick service

We had to wait 1.5 hours for the starters. When we asked whether it would be a long time, the owner replied that another table had come before us. This table received both the starter and the main course before our STARTER. We were the last to leave. Food was ok, but due to the long waiting time nobody was hungry anymore. When we arrived, not even all the tables were occupied, only 4 of them and everyone who wanted to eat spontaneously, she said there was no space. In the end, the owner wanted to chat a little with us to improve the situation, but after this waiting time we were all of the same opinion ... never again

The food is bad. The meat was very greasy and did not taste. We could not eat it. We paid and left. The service staff was very rude. The local is not recommended.

The atmosphere is very cozy. Greek cuisine as you know it in Germany. Nice family and if you're lucky there is a free ouzo.

A waitress might not be enough in the restaurant, which is quite big. I have been to better Greek restaurants. Somehow, dill was almost everywhere. The salad dressing was also suitable with the dill. But in the Zaziki? Well. The gyros were rather overgrown and burned in some small places. Our case was not exactly. All in all it was not bad either. Therefore three stars. So mean value. Maybe it would only have earned two. But as I said. The rest was good.

The stars are for the food, average. Gyros was warmed up. French fries was oily. Tomato rice was kind of tasteless. Service is quite bad. Once we had the soup 1.5 hr after order and we felt not welcome there at all.

If you like caressing scorched zero-eight-fifteen awakenings, Greek farmer's salad drowned in salt and oil, over-tasting overcooked meat with cloves or unsalted meat on a plate, you are most welcome here. Not recommendable!

Authentic greek Gyros !!! A must try if you pass Tiengen !
